Once the applicant has completed the application process, the applicant


will go through a detailed background investigation.  Once the applicant

passes the background investigation, the applicant will have all of his

training records reviewed and will be required to receive all of the

training the applicant is insufficient and/or not received.  Additional

training is required on a continuing basis for educational purposes and

the improvement of the security officer. 

After determination of training, an examination will be given to the


applicantto determine whether or not the applicant will meet

the minimum educational requirements and standards for hire.  When the

applicant is accepted and passes the detailed background investigation

the applicant will become an employee.  The employee’s performance is

continually monitored and evaluated.

What this means for our clients is that ACPS has the best trained

managers, the best trained security officers, and continues to train our

staff in order to provide our clients with the best possible service.  ACPS

staff members have experience with fire watch, patrol standing and

motor, and are trained to provide this service needed to reduce

insurance costs and bolster safety and risk management issues for our

ACPS has well educated and trained security officers that have graduated from a college course of instruction, have excellent writing skills, and can carry less than lethal weapons. The pay is $17.50- $20.00 per hour depending on the assignment.
